How To Take Kardovite

Tincture: Follow the instructions on the bottle. Shake the bottle well to mix the herbs, squeeze the eyedropper filling it with about a half inch of liquid. Remove the filled eyedropper from the bottle, and squeeze the liquid under your tongue. Take three times daily, recommended as first thing in the morning, midday, and before going to bed, not with food. The taste at first can be quite difficult for some and you could start with say 5 drops per dosage and build up to 15, Kardovite is also available in capsules. Many customers have told us that the taste is much easier to take after a few days. For problems with alcohol, please take Kardovite capsules.

Capsules: The capsules are taken with food three times a day.

Q: Will Kardovite interfere with any medication?
A: We have had no reported interactions with prescribed medication due to the small amounts of each herb in our dosage, please consult your health care professional if you have any concerns. Also dejoxin is made from the herb digitalis, commonly known as foxglove. Hawthorn may increase the effects of digitalis, we have had no reported interactions, if you have any concerns please consult your health care professional.

Q: Who should take Kardovite and for how long?
A: According to dietary studies, everyone over 20 should take Kardovite for one year. As we age, our body slowly depletes it's supply of essential nutrients. Hawthorn: General Description: Hawthorn has been traditionally used for centuries in Europe demonstrating its safety and efficacy where extracts of the leaf and berries are most commonly used therapeutically. Hawthorn also has antispasmodic and sedative properties. The medical constituents of hawthorn include: Flavonoids procyanidins, catechins, and triterpenes Vitexin, rutin and hyperoside. Research has been focused on the constituent Flavonoids and oligomeric procyanindins.

Safety Factors: No toxicity has been attributed directly to Hawthorn, however users should exercise care when combining this herb with any cardiac drugs, or ask their health professional prior to use.


Valerian: General Description: Traditional use of this herb has been for relief of sleeplessness, nervousness and edginess, usually the result of overwork and stress which inevitably leads to chronic fatigue. Working together with the other ingredients, Valerian provides a calming effect allowing the other herbs to work more effectively. Valerian: Provides inhibition of reflex hypersensitivity and helps maintain Nero-coronary equilibrium, Contains Valepotriates and Valerenic Acids which have sedative and anticonvulsant activity. Helps maintain levels of GABA (Gamma-Amino butyric Acid); can have direct neurotropic effects on higher centers of the central nervous system. Safety Factor: NOTE: Valerian root and its constituent Valepotriates are apparently nontoxic.


Milk Thistle: General Description: This herb traditionally is used to support the liver, part of an integrated approach where the herbs compliment each other for health enhancement. Milk Thistle: Contains three potent protective silybin, Silydianin Silychristin, Silymarin, alters the membranes to inhibit passage of toxins and increases cellular regeneration by stimulating protein synthesis. Safety Factors: Milk Thistle can have mild laxative effects.

Bilberry: Protective effects against the stress of demonstrated by measuring the crucial enzyme lactic dehydrogenase. Have other protective actions of Bilberry have reported including: Possession of good anti-inflammatory activity, modestly inhibiting Serum Platelet Aggregation. Contains Anthocyanosides which: Strengthens the capillaries.
