Studies on Sport Injuries:

In Europe the overall use of systemic enzymes has been far more widespread than in the United States. In Germany in particular, systemic enzymes have been actively used for decades and are even used by the German National Hockey to support physical health.*

German Dr. M. W. Kleine and his team at the Sports Medicine Investigation Center in Grumwald, Germany, decided to look at 100 athletes in order to determine the ‘effectiveness of proteolytic enzymes’. Dr. Kleine took each subject and removed two cubic cm of blood from their anticubital vein. By reinserting the blood under the skin on each subject’s right forearm, Dr. Kleine and his team were able to reproduce a hematoma (blood clot). 50 of the subjects were then given placebo pills, while the other 50 subjects were given proteolytic enzymes; each subject taking one pill three times a day. The results speak for themselves: 35 or 70% of the 50 subjects that had been treated with enzymes reported considerably less discomfort, normal inflammation, a shorter lasting amount of discomfort on pressure and had the hematoma disappear in a shorter amount of time than their placebo counterparts.*

Preventative Uses for Serretia:

Serrétia can also be successfully used in order to support normal injury recovery times. In another German study researchers set out to discover how well serrapeptase could assuage the discomfort of subjects who have undergone surgery.*

The German study involved sixty-six subjects that had undergone surgery in order to treat the rupture of the knee ligament, which is often suffered by athletes and causes substantial discomfort and inflammation. The subjects were split into two groups; one of which took serrapeptase, while the other was given a placebo. Three days following the surgery, the subjects that were given serrapeptase were found to have a 50% reduction of inflammation and experienced less discomfort compared to their placebo counterparts.*

What is Serretia?

Serretia is comprised of 99.99% pure Serratiopeptidase, more commonly known as Serrapeptase. How Does Serretia Work?

Taken on an empty stomach, Serrapeptase, a fibrinolytic (fibrin digesting) enzyme, enters the bloodstream via the small intestine. Is Serretia Enteric Coated?

Can I take Serrétia with other supplements?

Serrétia can be used safely with other dietary supplements. In fact, it is recommended that it be taken in conjunction with Neprinol or Syntol for additional proteolytic and fibrinolytic support.

How long does it take for Serrétia to work?

Although every person is different, some have reported feeling the effects of systemic enzymes in as little as 45 minutes. For therapeutic regimens, the progression may be slow for some and quicker for others. Serrapeptase has been clinically shown to thin mucosal secretions and limit pain due to injury. These effects are typically noticed within a very short time frame, though the other benefits of taking Serrétia on a regular basis are boundless and will progress with time.

It is therefore important for beneficial bacteria to outperform these harmful bacteria so that proper intestinal balance and overall good health can be achieved. Unfortunately the opposite can sometimes occur, in which aggressive strains of harmful bacteria outgrow and consume more resources than the beneficial bacteria. This phenomenon can be associated with poor health, abdominal discomfort, and bacterial infections. Why Floraphage?

Floraphage was designed to support the proliferation of beneficial bacteria throughout the gastrointestinal tract in order to promote optimal digestive and immune health. What is Floraphage?

Floraphage is a bacteriophage (or phage), which is a microscopic protein that can target and destroy one particular type of bacteria. Floraphage is selectively anti-microbial, specifically attaching to only harmful bacteria. Once a phage has attached itself, these “bad” bacteria essentially burst open, releasing more phage and nutrients, known as prebiotics, for our good bacteria to feed on. Floraphage can only attach itself to harmful bacteria, and can never enter or harm good bacteria or human cells.

Phages are everywhere, in our food, in the water we drink, on and in our bodies, and pretty much anywhere else imaginable. They are actually the most abundant naturally occurring organisms on earth. Phages have been safely used for over 90 years in the food supply and as a therapy for antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria. Floraphage is the first dietary supplement formula to utilize these amazing microscopic proteins.

How Does Floraphage Work?

Floraphage specifically targets bad bacteria and destroys their cell wall, releasing nutrients that provide good bacteria with the food and space that are needed for substantial growth in the digestive tract. In doing so, Floraphage reverses the growth pattern of certain bad bacteria and allows good bacteria to proliferate in their place.

Since Floraphage forces the release of nutrients from bad bacteria, it inherently acts as a two-phase super-prebiotic. Lab tests indicated that when harmful bacterial cells were allowed to grow for 10 hours in the absence of Floraphage, the bacterial cell growth gradually increased over the 10-hour incubation period. This is illustrated below with the green growth curve increasing over the 10-hour incubation period. However, when these same bad bacteria were incubated along with Floraphage, the bad bacterial cell growth began to decrease after 60 minutes and continued to gradually decrease over the 10-hour incubation period (yellow growth curve). These results indicate that Florphage is effective at preventing the further growth of these harmful bacterial cells.

Strontium Support II is an organic, stable strontium form (not to be confused with the radioactive strontium-90 isotope). Strontium is a trace mineral in the diet whose metabolism is closely tied to that of calcium, and which concentrates in the skeletal system, where it supports the function of osteoblasts (the cells which form new bone) while reducing the differentiation and activity of osteoclasts (the cells which resorb old bone). Strontium:The First Bone-Building Supplement!

Bone loss accelerates suddenly in menopausal women because the drop in estrogen levels causes an increase in the resorption (teardown) of existing bone. But resorption is only half of the story. Age-related bone loss is also caused by a decrease in the formation of new bone tissue.

Animal studies have shown that Strontium supplements both decrease bone resorption, and increase the formation of new bone tissue.
• In animal models, Strontium (in various forms, such as chloride, carbonate, gluconate, and lactate) causes "baby" osteoblasts (bone-building cells) to multiply more quickly.
• Bone tissue cultures which are exposed to Strontium synthesize more bone matrix and new bone collagen. The same amount of calcium has no effect on these parameters.
