Honeybees create propolis as a flavonoid-rich, antioxidant and antibacterial substance to coat and seal the interior of their hives. Derived from plant and tree resins, propolis protects the hive from invasion by bad bacteria, mold, and other pathogens. Humans can benefit from propolis by consuming it as a dietary supplement.*

Dr. Ohhira combined Brazilian green propolis with probiotic support, flax oil, and astaxanthin to create an innovative whole health supplement. Only Dr. Ohhira’s Propolis PLUS provides:

  Known as the Gold Standard of propolis, the best Brazilian propolis is often referred to as “Green Propolis” due to its vivid color. It is especially powerful due to the rare flora in the region where it is harvested and the unique Africanized honeybees that create it. These bees have adapted to living in a very difficult environment, and the quality of their propolis reflects this fact. It is remarkably high in cinnamic acid derivatives (i.e. Artepillin C) and is one of the most potent propolis sources available. A patented water-soluble extraction method is used to remove the green propolis from its natural environment while preserving its incredible antioxidant and health-promoting qualities.

SUGGESTED USE:  Take 3 capsules daily with water: one in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening.  Take the suggested dosage for 21 days, refrain for seven days, and then repeat.  Or use as directed by your health care professional.

Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotic Hadayubi Lavender Moisturizer (1.5 oz tube):  Ingredients similar to those in Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotic Magoroku Skin Lotion with the addition of lavender, lemon balm, Japanese mugwort, kelp, perilla and Wakame (brown seaweed).  Blended in royal jelly extract, Japanese pickled cabbage, panax ginseng root extract, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5 emollient, swertia japonica extract, menthol, scutellaria baicalensis root extract, licorice isolate, glycerin, and water.  Product of Japan.

What ingredients are in the Magoroku Skin Lotion?

Our Magoroku Skin Lotion contains:

Botanical extracts (peach leaf, loquat leaf, and Aloe vera);
Dr. Ohhira’s probiotic extract;
octyldodecanol (from coconut oil);
stearyl glycyrhetinate (natural licorice extract);
squalene- used only to extract other ingredients used in product
and Japanese Magoroku (equine oil).

The probiotic extract begins with hand-harvested raw botanical ingredients:

Apricot; Wild Vine; Chinese Matrimony; Mulberry; Sea Tangle; Chinese Cabbage; Oleaster; Plum; Wild Strawberry; Loquat; Mugwort; Brown Seaweed; Shiitake Mushroom; Chinese Bayberry.

These herbals are carefully blended and fermented with our unique E. faecalis TH10 lactic acid bacteria (LAB)—one of the strongest LAB strains available today. The final extract contains the LAB, its nutritious culture medium, and naturally occurring organic acids, amino acids, minerals, and vitamins. This skin care formula is metabolized in highly prized Magoroku oil, which is very similar to the skins own natural oils and allows for deep absorption of the probiotic properties.

HONORS AND AWARDS

In 1991, the Japanese Dairy and Food Association honored Dr. Iichiroh Ohhira, for his work as a world-renowned microbiologist and formulator of the E. faecalis TH10 strain of lactic acid bacteria. Dr. Ohhira is a distinguished member of the New York Academy of Sciences and numerous scientific societies in Japan as well as receiving the prestigious Gusi Peace Prize for 2004.
